The Process

Initial Consultation

This would be our initial meeting/discussion, depending on the circumstances and the client's preference, this would either be in person or by other means of communication. We would complete an in depth client profile to ascertain your most desired requirements for not only the house you wish to purchase but the lifestyle you want to lead. This is a very important stage as we find out what is most important to you over and above how many bedrooms you require or the size of the garden.

Area Orientation

If you are new to the Island we will provide you with details of each of the areas we feel will meet your requirements, including information on schools, health centres, transport links, leisure and recreational facilities etc. in order to identify the locality in which you would like to live.

Full Property Search

When we have established your requirements we will review all suitable properties currently available by working closely with local agents, developers and private contacts. We will draw up an initial list and visit each property on your behalf, looking for potential problems, advantages and disadvantages which may not be apparent from the sales particulars in order to obtain a short list of the best potentially suitable properties.

Report

We will where possible meet with you in person or communicate via e-mail, post or telephone whichever is your preferred method, to discuss the detailed short list. Subject to the approval of the vendors we will provide you with photographs of each property short listed. Our report will include information on location, construction, condition, accommodation, land/gardens and outbuildings and in our opinion suitability.

Accompanied Viewing

When we have reviewed the short list we will arrange for you to view the properties you feel may be suitable. We will collect you from the ferry or your chosen collection point and accompany you on your inspection of each property and provide a guided orientation tour of the surrounding areas with location of amenities, schools etc.

Negotiation of Property or Rent

We are happy to conduct all negotiations on your behalf to achieve the best possible purchase price for you. Once the offer has been accepted we will monitor the transaction through to completion.
